Too Much Scrubbing Your Skin?

Are you guilty of this? Me, guilty as charged! There are times I can't help but to scrub my skin like it's a dirty plate. LOL! It's really frustrating to see your face really red and painful afterwards since the skin are removed harshly. Every time I use a skin peeling oil to my skin, it's very rare that I won't scrub them off harshly. The main reason there is it's really ugly to see dead skin cells coming off and it's really embarrassing especially when you go outside and meet people face to face. In this case, I've found a good way to moisturize your face during this peeling stage. I totally recommend this product from Avon skin care. 

Honestly, I was hesistant to use this product since Avon is putting this on sale and the price dropped really low. I wonder why? Maybe because this product is not really in demand. 

The downside of this product is it will make your face oily thus the reason why it helps cover your skin from all those peel offs you're experiencing out there. The technique is to apply only a very small amount to the desired area of your face that needs moisturizing to avoid the greasy look and don't expose yourself to the sun or any hot areas (although soybean oil is known to prevent skin damage caused by the sun). Stay indoors as much as you want while using this product. You can also use this as a base to your foundation, BB cream, CC cream, or regular face powder. 

 A small amount like the image above is enough to cover up the entire face. You will noticed immediately that the sting or pain will go away (as the label said comforting nourishing cream) and it will dry up and heal the scratches you've done to your poor face. Actually, I used this product once to my hands after hand-washing all my delicate clothes and it's really effective because the peeled skin healed in just a day.

Create A Natural Wavy Hair Without The Crimped Look At The Hair Ends

This is not really a very elaborate hair tutorial. I just want you to see it on how I did my hair today wearing the natural wave look within 15 minutes for medium hair like mine. Just follow the steps below on how to create that perfect summer wave without the help of other person.

1. After prepping your hair with heat protection spray or mousse to hold the curls, you may now part your hair into two.
2. Section the other half by parting them again in two parts then start curling the lower hairs. Estimate a not too thick section but not too thin section while curling your hair.
3. Get a gloves made with cloth and use it to protect your hands while holding the hair with the curling iron.
4. Do not use the clip of the curling iron to avoid the crimped look at the end of the strands of your hair. This is the reason why you need to use the gloves since you'll be the one locking the hair.
5. Follow an imaginary spiral when placing the hair in the hot barrel then roll the hair tightly by securing your fingertips with the gloves on it.
6. Do not brush your hair instead use your hands because if you do, you'll ruined the curls.
7. Apply hair spray if you like but I recommend you don't if you want it to look more natural. If you have natural silky super straight hair, I recommend that you use spray or anything to hold them.
8. If you're not using hair spray, avoid windy areas since it will ruin the curls.
9. Enjoy your natural wavy hair without the crimped look at the end of the curls.

Better Than St. Yves Facial Scrubs

I currently live in a very small city where there is no Watsons store yet and my problem is I've almost emptied all my beauty regimens and sad to say they're not available in this city I lived in yet. I must find a new product in exchange to my previous beauty products that are exactly or have much better results than the products I'm used to. Good thing my mom is an Avon dealer and it's currently on sale and found this amazing facial scrub. The texture of the scrub is finer than St. Yves and it comes in a long squeezy tube. It was my sister who first tried it and told me that I should really try it ASAP for it amazes her. I was pessimistic at first since I'm really loyal to St. Yves but then I have to open my door for some new product soon. My sister is right that this product is truly a good deal from Avon. It has this cool minty effect to your face and will really buff away all your dead skin cells especially if you're in exfoliating stage of your face. The smell is balmy and minty and the color of the paste is mint green and the most amazing part of this product is the texture of the scrub because every squeeze does give you a lot of scrubbing particles unlike other products where there are less scrubbing particles inside only a generous amount of gel. This product somehow heals my skin after a hormonal pimple breakout 'coz it dries them out fast. I forgot the prize of this product but I'm pretty sure it's pretty affordable right this summer of 2014. If you're into new products at this phase of your life, go to your nearest Avon store or ask an Avon dealer. Some dealer might even let you purchase some products in installments. LOL!

Avon's Ceramic Tourmaline Hair Curler Hair Review

As promised here is my review of the new Avon Ceramic Tourmaline electric hair curler. The tourmaline in this curling iron will boosts the number of negative ions produced, which leads to healthier, shinier hair. According to my research, tourmaline is a semi-precious gemstone and when used in hair styling tools, it's infused to the ceramic by grounding them finely.
Tourmaline will create more negative ions than just ceramic and if they're both combined the more the benefit it is for your hair especially if you're often using it. I bought this iron because the barrel is much bigger than my old curling iron plus it's on sale this summer in Avon. Here are the photos of the product and the before and after of using this curling iron. 

Features 2 heat settings and will heat in just a short span of time.

This is the before and after look of the hair using ceramic tourmaline curling iron by Avon style essentials.

My cousin's hair is naturally thin and straight and I didn't apply any mousse or gel to hold the curls. I just want to check the size of the curls using this curling iron but fail to get a good result using her hair since it comes back naturally to the straight look after a couple of minutes passed. Darn!!!

The Irony Of The Tanning Sunblock

Hello guys! Summer is finally here and going out outdoors seems to be very dangerous since the sun's UV rays can cause skin cancer, sunburn, melasma and so much more. As I've told you in my previous posts, me and my boyfriend loves tilling the land and garden in our free time plus I love biking and swimming too to burn all the calories. My mom is an Avon dealer as part of her many many sidelines and came to browse the latest brochures for this summer 2014 and found a good deal with their sunblock products. To make the story short,  I ordered the lotion and spray. The former for my face and the latter for the body parts. The items are enclosed inside an orange yellow box and the labels promised to give you a sun protection up to 30 spf. Spf 30 are supposed to protect your skin by 97%, spf 15 by 93% respectively and the
higher the spf, the higher the the protection you can get from the sun but it doesn't mean that you can stay under the sun long enough without reapplication. I have a fair skin and so does my boyfriend too and he was the first to test the product and went to the garden around 1 in the afternoon. I applied the spray to my right hand only to test it later on but when my boyfriend came back after 30 minutes, what happened is he looks like chocolate in just 30 minutes under exposure from the sun. What the hell??? What kind of sunblock is this? Good thing I did not went outside yet 'coz I'm still gearing up for my afternoon workout outside. Lol! Honestly, I don't recommend this sunblock if you're using whitening products 'coz I guess it won't work effectively on you but I recommend this to those who wants to have a tanning effect but with sun protection. But if you're like me who literally buy a sunblock to protect you from turning chocolate color then this product is not for us!!! Oh Lord!!! This is the worst sunblock lotion and spray ever. Sorry, Avon! This product didn't worked for me but maybe this worked to others...maybe... :) Anyway, I will be posting a lot of Avon products and haul for my next post. I still love Avon products though even if this one is a flop. Coppertone and Banana Boat sunblock products are still my number one on my list though they are really expensive for a middle class like me. His skin is not reddish in color even if he's indoor and he even wore an elbow length clothing after applying the sunblock spray to his body and lotion to his face and not only an hour he turned red unlike the before photo which he only uses the Banana boat sunblock and it's for kids. Lol! I guess the spray is not really effective as a sunblock unlike the lotion variety.
